So here it is, my portfolio… I've chosen not to put my school work,
mainly due to a lack of time but also, if you've accessed
this page through here, you'd find much of our assignments are alike.
I have included the work I've done since, plus my final school project.
Again, I will be adding on to this section as time permits. The links
are ordered from the most recent to the oldest.
Cri communications As a freelance integrator for
Cri, I take care, along with two other people, of adapting
the work of graphic designers into HTML. I design the menus, code the
Javascript, create the forms and I make sure everything is fully compatible
on all browsers.
I am presently working on the redesign for FDC
- Université de Montréal,
which should be online by the end of October.
I've also worked on the following sites:
I’ve also worked on two internal sites that I cannot show here.
Final school project
This project represents the result of my 15 month program. With four other students,
we created a site that uses Amazon Web services (we used the American site because
the Canadian version was not yet ready – still isn’t…). That is why the books offered
are in English – ah yes, the site’s only in French.
Description
As the project leader, I took care of the administrative side of things
(deadlines, task follow-ups, planning, etc.) as well as programming
(communication with the web services, book presentation and the comments section)
and designing the database
Le Bouquinier
PLease note
The book search function does not work in this version because it was done using
Java (we had to be thread-safe) and my web host does not offer support for this.
Also, the “going to the cash” portion of the site was removed to prevent anyone
from paying “American dollars” for a book which seems very reasonably priced!
The version we presented at the end of our studies was 100% functional.
